I find destroying the whole flower is a lot better! Fun too. Try, destroying a Rose bush by hand. That is comedy, and brings good luck to those that believe.

Some cultures silently ask permission of the plant/flower before they pick it, and then listen intuitively to see if it is appropriate.
Or, one can just stay centered in their wise Beingness and they'll always take spontaneous right action and there won't be any "should I" or "shouldn't I."

Well I wouldn't pick one out of someones garden or a woodland but I do appreciate flower being bought for me once a week but these are usually grown for this purpose!

Sometimes it is appropos to pick them other times we should leave it alone for others to enjoy or to allow the plant to reproduce. If you are self aware and listen to the logic of the universe you will know when each of these moments arrive.

Anyway, I do prefer visiting my Grandma's garden to having somebody pick flowers from it to bring them to me, but extremes are... not good, in almost any area of life.

it depends what are you plucking the flower on,,,,,,,,,,if it is just plucking and throwing then its the worst thing you'll ever do in the life..............if its for someone's mourning or to show your love for someone then its okay............................these are all my personal thoughts.......
