I've been in the sun playing golf or at the beach, and i used the proper sun protection (spf 20 i think) and i suddenly have these light whiteish yellowish spots on my arms. and their increasing day by day. anyone know what it is?

confused help?

This is probably going to sound stupid but i just want some advice. A friend of mine and myself lost some contact over the past year we started talking again about two weeks ago. She is going through a rough time right now she was just seperated from her husband. She called me cause she needed some help with watching her children. She suggested we catch up and have movie night at her house. Two weeks has passed and i have not heard from her. I phoned her yesterday and left a message just telling her i was just saying hello and if she needed help with anything to call and also if she still wanted a movie night. I have not heard back from her about that yet and im wondering if i should call again in a few days or just let it go and wait to see if she calls me. It almost seems like she just calls if she needs something. any advice appreciated

This dude just posted a question, quoting verses from the bible that denounce women. Like him, I was surprised how many of you were defending it. The verses were from Corinthians, by the way. Anyway, most of them said that Paul was addressing a certain church (the church of Corinth?). I, too, thought you said the bible was the "word of God." This doesn't make sense to me. Some of you refute that historians are wrong, then some of you say some of these books were written by a PERSON addressing a certain people, and only apply to people. Would this not hold true for the rest of the bible? I'm getting way too many different answers, and how are you supposed to make me believe when everything contradicts the other?

Doctrine and Covenants section 101 used to have a verse that said that marriage was for only one man to one woman. That was deleted when Joseph Smith wrote D&C section 132, the infamous 'poligamy revelation'. If the LDS church is serious about not practicing poligamy, why doesn't it delete section 132, as it did to the part of section 101 that mandated monogamy???

I was in a very long relationship (+3). I really saw the future with this person...until I felt that I was getting more hurt than happiness. It's easier said than done...that's for sure. Even though I still love this person with all my heart, I was the one that had to break it off. But I can't seem to put this person behind me even though 2 months since the break up have already passed. What can I do to finally forget about him and move on? How much time does it actually take? He didn't fight for the relationship, so could it be that he never truly loved me enough to make it work?

I work at a job that provides great pay AND benefits (much better then I did as a teacher).

I feel as if I am going mad (well "mad" might be a a bit overstating it,)

however.

I like working with people that involve caring for others (that's why I chose teaching, but I couldn't pay my bills) and in turn ALSO are supportive of the people they work with.

This is not the scenario of this position.

As a secondary part to this question: IF you did say yes to "have any of you felt "displaced" at a job?," answer this queation:

"What did you do to resolve it?"

The US House of Representatives just approved a bill to ban the slaughter of horses in the United States for human consumption.

The American Horse Slaughter Prevention Act, which still awaits approval by the Senate, passed on a 263-146 vote, setting the stage for the possible elimination of an industry that Rep. Edward Whitfield (R-Ky.) called "a grossly inhumane business."

If your going to ban killing one mammal, why not protect all of them?? Doesn't a cow or pig feel as much pain as a horse?

So I'm having one of my wisdom teeth pulled out in a few weeks, and I am very apprehensive.....it has to come out because it has a cavity in it, and I can only afford to have this one pulled.
