I work at a job that provides great pay AND benefits (much better then I did as a teacher).

I feel as if I am going mad (well "mad" might be a a bit overstating it,)

however.

I like working with people that involve caring for others (that's why I chose teaching, but I couldn't pay my bills) and in turn ALSO are supportive of the people they work with.

This is not the scenario of this position.

As a secondary part to this question: IF you did say yes to "have any of you felt "displaced" at a job?," answer this queation:

"What did you do to resolve it?"

dude... I work at Wal-Mart.. where managers don't care if people are rude and curse at you as long as you smile and greet them... I soo feel out of place there because normally whenever someone yells at me, I'm just like yeah, what the hell makes you so special? But I'm a cashier and I can't do that... but a paycheck is a paycheck right? I just bite my check, smile regardless of what the situation is, and think of that green dollar I'm making...

All jobs have thier plus and minuses you will just have to weigh what both and then decide if this is where you want to be. I did two times one job I gave up 2 weeks sick leave and 5 weeks vacation and started all over again. I got the position that I wanted and then was demoted but still I did get the position so I looked into what I did wrong went back to the first job with a different manager and got the position I had origionally wanted but was denied. Now I have been here in this position for 3 years and have had up and downs but I still love the job I was hired for.

No I can't say that I have. I may have a werid job that people look at and their skin crawls but I love it it was made for me. I work in the morgue, I couldn't ask for a better job. The hours are great, the work is fairly easy, and it pays great. But the best part about my job is no one talks back and I don't have to deal with people b!tching all the time.
However, if I did feel that I was displaced in my job I would either resolve it by directly talking to my boss and if that got me no where I would switch my jobs and go into something better that I was comfortable with. If one is stuck at a job in which they dislike it will just lead to hate for the job and in return put stress into your life that you don't need.

honestly no, no longer all APs do get practise, or perhaps in the event you've had practise, being a figure is something it truly is in no way an analogous two times, and so no quantity of teaching contained in the international is continuously gonna make it bypass 'proper' continually - or perhaps more desirable so contained as regards to APs as they're already at a downside because they do no longer have an analogous genetic clues from the adoptee as that they had have (and supplies to) their very own new child. it is your job to assist your amom get over her themes because SHE'S YOUR mom! an analogous because it truly is my job to assist my moms understand me IF i favor to BE UNDERSTOOD with the help of THEM because opposite to common concept, mom's are not /honestly/ psychic, although in the adventure that they could look that way each so often. i don't know how before you've been followed, yet trust me, circumstances and the expertise about what adoption does to little ones has replaced in view that that they had you - extremely. it truly is not any longer their fault that you probably did not comprise a preparation guide, so cease appearing like a **** and help them to understand you so as that they can help you. for sure, if all you're drawn to is bitching about how awful they're, then be at liberty to carry on appearing like a wazzack, yet you're surely hindering your own existence with the help of doing so.

As a matter of fact, yes. I currently feel like I am floundering due to lack of support and training from my superiors. I am in entry-level management, very green, and have huge workload just dumped in my lap and in effect told to "sink or swim". From one side of her mouth, my manager tells me not to stress, you'll never be able to get it all done in one day. From the other, she tells me I have a "time management" issue. I can't win for losing. I couldn't make the money I do anywhere else in my area, otherwise I probably would be history at this place.

Like me many people work at jobs for better pay that are not made for you. Work at something you love to do and you will never work a day in your life!

Yes, of course!! Change jobs. You can stay until you find something better..but keep looking!! We spend too much of our lives working to stay in a job we are not happy with. There's always something better out there.

At first my current job bothered me, it felt like most times I was dealing with morons and you had to fit in with the management, you know the whole popularity kiss butt contest. That is not me... I was like I do not have to like to you to work with you! I decided that my work will speak for itself. I just do my job and respect folks while at work and not take it personal anymore. Work is left and work and when work is over I can inhale and exhale freely! Good Luck on your new job journey!
