I am 46 years old and I decided to go back to college. I am in a pre algebra course. I never took any kind of algebra in school. I dropped out in the 9th grade and went back a year later and got my GED. So this is very new to me and I need some help. Some of it is just basic math but now it is getting to some problems like 7(2x+1) or 5(x+6). When i get to trying to solve problems, I get lost on the way to the answer. I know that there is an easy way to do these kind of problems but I get lost in the showing the work on the way to the answer. Does that make any kind of sense?

Could someone with a medical background or experience please answer this question?

I washed some rice two days ago and realized I washed too much so I removed a cup of it and set it aside. I was going to cook it today but made something else so a few minutes ago, I was wondering if the damp rice is still good so I stuck my head down near the rice and took a deep breath-to smell it but -to my surprise some rice grains went up in my nostrils. Now I don't think they all came out. So what shall I do? Will the rice swell while I'm sleeping? Should I go to the hospital emergency? Will it just work its way out while I sleep? I've tried blowing and using a suction thing but nothing works. Are an adults nostrils big enough that this is no big deal? This is a serious question. TY

i was thinking bout joining the air force but i dont want to leave florida so whats my chance for staying?

I will just die if i joined the military and had to move to a diff. state its ok if i spend a few months in a diff. country but if i have to move to a diff. state id b crushed so what r my chances and is it a good idea is it worth it? i am starting a new relationship w/ someone and its one i really want and i couldnt live if it was gone i must b with that person is it worth it?

Ive been with the same partner a year, and in the past 2 weeks I've been bleeding after sex, what should I do?

I have been with the same partner (who I lost my viginity to, and he lost his to me) and we have been having sex for about 9 months now. I just noticed in the past 2weeks that every time after we have sex, that I am bleeding.Its not that much, but it is enough that when I stand up that it runs down my leg.
