Having a food collection for the local shelter or food pantry? The kids could be organized in groups: posters and advertising, distribution of posters or flyers, organizing the pick up of items from neighbors and friends, delivery of items to shelter or food pantry.

How about a trip to the nearest COSI or National Museum of History? They give discounts for large groups and are easily available to make reservations with.........

we've followed a huge sibling crew besides. There are 7 of them yet we do no longer have any organic and organic little ones. once you've executed it for the previous 365 days, you'd be wonderful. Hmm, local planetarium, local museum of science and industry, local nature center, a really huge kick-*** game of dodge-ball, culture them and take in a local play, educate them and take them to a financial center and actually teach them to balance their check books...
Its difficult given the size and education of the group, as well as the restrictions on school-type activities...

the eighth graders in my city's middle school go to michigan's adventure if they get on the honor roll at least 3 times but in the previous years it was cedar point so why not take them to an amusement park,or go to a state park.
