A diabetic I know claims her blood glucose has been as low as 0.1. I think she doesn't know what she is talking about.

I see you're using the Canadian measurement. Check out the Canadian Diabetes Association for the proper numbers.
You're friend would have been in a coma if her sugar went that low, I believe. Under 4 and you are in danger, under 2- coma!!!!!

I have had type 1 diabetes for 26 years. When I was first diagnosed a blood sugar reading of 60 - 70 would make me very confused and disorientated. As I got older and got used to lows, that number has dropped.

As a teen-ager, I used to have seizures caused by low blood sugar, typically they would happen if I dropped below 40.

Now, I'm 32 and I can walk, talk and chew gum with a blood sugar of 28. (That's the lowest I've seen it for me.) I test all the time to be sure I'm not low when I'm driving or operating heavy machinery!

I test between 10 and 12 times a day.

This is a very low glucose reading. Get some glucose (sugar) or food in you to raise it up to a level between 70 and 100. Try to keep the glucose up to between 70 and 100.

I'm a 45 year old woman and was recently diagnosed as being a borderline diabetic. My doctor prescribed some medication, but before filling it I decided to do some research on the internet which led me to the methods. After reading this ebook and applying the methods, my scepticism turned to 100% belief. I noticed that my energy levels increased significantly and I felt more rested in the morning, my symptoms started going away.

I am very happy to tell you that I have been feeling better than I have felt in years and my doctor informed me that he will be taking me off my prescriptions if I keep this up.

I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

Well, my 2nd husband was a diabetic, insulin dependent and I have seen him go as low as 40 and still be talking but, at 20, I was calling the paramedics on him. So, everyone is different. The reason to keep steady blood sugars is to keep from getting too low a b/s as it starts to work on the nerves then that becomes another problem........

I think it really depents on what your NORMAL BS is. When I was running high a 60 would put me under. But when I was running 90-120 all the time a 47 was to low and I would go under.
I tent to go under (Coma & near coma time) alot but I don't really know what my BS's were until I was coming back out of them, Unless I was in the hospital and being monitored at the time (which was rare) but last week I was in hospital and had a 67 and was under. So I don't think you can judge someone else's BS
When I worked in the ER there was a man that had a 8 but he was dead two minutes later.

In all the cases I've witnessed, once a persons bg dropped below 40, he or she was unresponsive. BVeing a diabetic as well as a licensed medical professional, I can tell ya us diabetics gotta be careful regarding our insulin usage, fer sure.
