My daughter and son in law ask me to be present at the birth, it should have been a home birth but due to problems my daughter was taken to hosital. It was strange because the midwives called me mum right up until baby was born then they changed to calling me Nanny. Best experience I'v ever had

My friend swears by this:
When he feels a cold coming on, he drinks 4oz. of warmed up whisky (seriously), then bundles up in several layers of PJs and socks, lots of blankets, and sweats like crazy all night. He swears he wakes up healthy every time. What do you think?

they finally come to the conclusion that they agree there is no way to get off the island. then they find a lamp on the beach and they rub it. a magic genie comes out and tells them each of them gets one wish but they can only wish to be something. they cannot wish to go somewhere. the brunette wishes to be a shark so she could swim to shore. the genie said "ok, once u get to ur desired location, u will turn back to normal." the brunette was turned into a shark and swam to shore. then the redhead wishes to be an eagle so she could fly to safety. the genie said "ok, once u get to ur desired location, u will turn back to normal." the redhead turned into an eagle and flew to safety. then the blonde walks around fro a minute and then says "i wish i was..." she trips on a rock and shouts "crap!!!"

I attended two undergraduate schools. I received 71 credits from my first school and 39 credits from my other school. I simply want to know which GPA I should include on my resume. Can I combine the GPA's together? Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide me with.

I just wanted to emfisize on this comment:

No I am not at all intimidated by his questions or comments. For those who believe that there is more evidence to evolution than there is to back up the God of the Holy Bible you obviously have not done your research or you are just in denial. The truth of God is increased through your lie to His glory. Evolution is one of the biggest lies ever told about history. If anyone would like to publically state the evidences to the inaccuracey of the "religion" of evolution and the evidence of the accuracy of the Holy Bible please feel free to right back.

The cable company put down new fiberoptic lines in my backyard about 3 months ago. They dug a series of holes about 6' long and 6' deep to do this. I got a lot of rain and wind when Ernesto passed over my house in Richmond, VA last week and a 50'-60' tree fell down and was hanging over my house, supported by another big tree that it hit. One of the holes the cable company dug was about 10' from the base of the tree that fell and it fell directly over where the hole was. Is there any chance they may have cut the roots of the tree causing it to fall when they laid the fiber optic line? The tree did not hit but it was in danger of falling on (supported by another tree) so I had to call in a crane to remove it. It cost $5,600 and insurance doesn't want to pay becuase it didn't actually hit my house (it would have hit it eventually if I had left it there).

Does anyone know if cutting a 6' long section of roots this far away could cause the tree to fall? It was a big one!
