I've had a few goes already...my instructor tells me I am more than ready for it and I'm a lot more confident than earlier this year, but I'm still a tiny bit nervous

Hey everyone, thanks for the advice. I got loads of sleep, and took rescue remedy. Finished up feeling slightly anxious but after 5 mins I was fine. Then failed 5 mins from the test centre, on the way back, having aced all my manoevres and only made little minor mistakes. 1 serious, and 6 minors. Bloody kicking myself :( but booked up again, refuse to give up!!

Sound silly, but a good nights sleep. Don't do last mintue revision, just put a movies on and most importantly chill!

p.s. its just a driving test, they are not out to fail you, they want to pass you.
If you are still nevous, tell the instructor and they might chat with you to keep u calm and make the whole experience less daunting.

Good Luck!!

A squirt of Rescue remedy, it's a Bach flower remedy and can be be brought in health shops and a lot of chemists.

My son is a brilliant driver and he did about 5 test to get there simply because of nerves so try to relax and have a squirt of remedy, big deep breaths and good luck.

Just keep in mind that large numbers of people pass these tests every day - many of whom are surely worse drivers than you. So what's there to sweat?

I always envision the worst case scenario and accept that it can happen. After that, everything else seems easy in comparison.

So worst case is you might fail and have to take it again. Nothing to worry about.

Hope this helps.

If you're nervous about passing a driving test maybe you shouldn't be driving. For the people who said alcohol, good job on promoting underage drinking. I think your future in kiddy porn will land you in prison. If you are of age to drink and still nervous about the test, don't take it. You have survived this long without it, think about the other people on the road.

Just kidding, you'll be fine.

Try not to think about how much you want to pass etc. It`s ok to be a bit nervous and your instructor wouldn`t let you take it if you weren`t ready. So just get in the car and go for it!! Good luck.

take a deep breath try to relax it might help to chew on a piece of bubble gum as well. your going to be in the car with another human being that probably won't be strict like your parents would be. If anyone should be nervous it will probably the person from the license branch.

a six-pack 30 minutes before the test? Worked for me.....

Seriously, just look at it as another day in driver training. All of us were scared the first time, but most of us passed the test. Just relax, do what you're asked to do, and don't worry about the test.

A good night's sleep would be most helpful. In the morning, keep your caffeine intake to an absolute minimum. And most importantly, relax and remain calm. With that in mind, you should do just fine. Good luck to you. :)

U should calm down. Study a couple more times. And take it. The test usually is easy. I took mine and I passed. It is usually common sense questions.
