My sister and her husband have a house that I have been taking care of for the past 5 years. They have a quick claim deed. She and husband are divorcing. Last year, she wrote me a notarized bill of sale for the house. How do I have the quick claim deed transferred into my name? The house does NOT have a current abstract and NO, I don't plan on getting one updated either. I plan on selling the house and splitting the monies with my sister.

His life was so risky, so it brings me to the question? Is it fate that kills or randomly selected, he's survived everything to die by a diving accident by a string ray to his heart.. Wow it's like final destination.

these same people, who invited themselves to our house very boldly and directly and in my opinion rudely, though it did not seem so bad at the time(please see my other question if you have time) also invited themselves along on a cruise vacation i am going on with my hubby and our baby girl. What am i to do? The way they did it, i wasn't around, and my hubby, who talks far to much, felt a bit uncomfortable and was embarassed to say no. he told me he doesn't really want them to come. they are supposed to be good friends of my brother, through whom we met them. how do i get rid of these people, and why do you think they want to follow us around? are they after something or am i being paranoid? i dont know them well at all and i have an uncertain feeling about the characters involved!

Is there a way to view an NTFS drive (originally from an XP) on a Windows ME (which generally supports FAT32) without having to reformat the NTFS to FAT32? I know there are NTFS reader softwares, but the ones I've come across only let me read and copy the files on the NTFS drive, not delete files, run Virus Scan, etc.

I mean they dont have a reason at all not to like me.
