Depends if you mean pro-legal vs. anti-legal or if you mean that I'm for the norm vs. against the norm. I'm all for staying within the letter of the law(though I think many of our laws are excessive), but I think many of the backwards rules we've allowed ourselves to be lead by come from a system that has evolved into a system more intested in self-propagation over what's best for the people. I think that government should say you can more than it says you can't. I think that government should respect its people more than the other way around. So to answer a vary obtuse question I will give a more obtuse answer.
I am. And the legal system should stay out of the way.

Those labels are imprecise. I am for giving the illegal aliens that are already here a path to legal status. I am for tightening our border and improving tracking of people who enter the country via air and ship. I am anti anyone who has a criminal record while here. They should be deported with no chance to return. I am anti citizenship for illegal aliens. As part of the penalty for being here illegally they should eligible for no more than permanent residence.
