There are many possible problems. Best advice is to tackle the problem species by species. Each will have different needs. This is my favorite gardening website:

You should be able to quickly diagnose your problems if you visit and explore the site.

Good luck with your gardening.

You probably are overwatering. You did not mention the type of plant, or your location, or that of the plant, but as a general rule, watering twice a week is more than enough for most indoor plants in non desert climates.

I have been a florist for over 20 yrs, and have taken care of thousands of plants of all types......

If you are watering everyday then you are overwatering them and also if you have them in direct sunlite these are two major things that put together will turn leaves yellow and eventually kill the plants. Cut back on watering to once a week and watch your direct sunlite. Good Luck

Usually, once a week is sufficient. Drain all the water and get rid of the drenched soil. Replace with good, rich soil.

or it may not be getting enough of a certain nutrient: change the soil

but.. there is also something that happens to plants, its called Lethal Yellowing, and when that happens, you can't really stop it, the plant will eventually turn from yellow to black and die.

try watering once a week
plants cannot be compared to people who need to drink everyday.
usually yellow is a sign of aproaching death in plants

Girlfriend......try nitrogen!! If they are turning yellow, it means that they are nitrogen deficient!

If it is every evening, that may be overwatering.
