I had this problem too, and i got rid of it before it even got to the "big" stage! As soon as i started feeling the pimple under my skin (i could feel it was huge, and it was right in the crack near my nose. it hurt so bad that i couldnt even smile or wrinkle my nose), i washed it. A lot. I used Neutrogena face wash/mask 2 in one. I washed my entire face maybe once or twice a day, but right at that spot where the pimple was, i washed it probably 4-5 times. Seriously. It works. It may start drying out if u do it a lot, but at least it will get rid of your pimple. I did this for about 2 days, and on the 2nd day, the pimple started going away, and on the 3rd day it was gone! I was so thrilled to learn that this works that i do it every single time i get a pimple, and it works every single time. The trick is, wash, wash, wash.
Also, when i go to school, i avoid putting anything on the area. You need to let it breath, so if you have to put makeup on such as concealer, put it everywhere but where your big pimple is. A bit of powder is ok, but not much else.
Please try what i said, it worked great with me. The product is called Neutrogena Clear Pore Cleanser/Mask. It is inexpensive (unlike proactive) and works really well.

Simple start for home: Get a washcloth and use warm water to rinse your face, preferably a few times a day. Any soap would help too, but there are kinds that you can get at pharmacys and even grocery stores that are specially for your face. Also, some studies have shown that stress will cause pimples. Just ignore the pimples, it happens to enough people to call it common. The less you worry and the more you focus on washing your face, etc. there is a good chance they will improve.

Pro-active works very well. It is not a medication, but you do have to pay for it. Isopropyl Alcohol or witch hazel are both over the counter items, pretty cheap and work well with a good cleansing system. I had never had acne until I was pregnant with my last child. I started using Clean and clear cleansing cream, followed by using the alcohol on a cotton ball, my face cleared up pretty fast. Acne can also come from your diet fatty and fried foods are bad for your skin. Good luck, I hope you find something that works.

I am an Aesthetician. I have seen Proactive completely clear up acne. You can order it on line or they have infomericals on t.v. for it. If you pick at them you will scar your skin. Make sure you wash your face every a.m. and p.m. either with a good cleanser for oily skin or the proactive. Try not to touch your face because our hand always have germs on them. If you do pick at them then you will notice that the next day usually you will have a twin next to it because you ended up spreading the bacteria under the skin.
Good luck!

Put little dab of toothpaste on each pimple before you go to bed. In the morning wipe it off.

A dab of toothpaste left overnight is said to help.... otherwise get some benzoyl peroxide cream at any pharmacy.

if it looks a yellowish, squeeze it, get the puss out and then disinfect it with rubbing alcohol and then put clearasil or clean & clear blemish remover or something like that, leave it on overnite and it gets smaller or goes away the next day.
