Your intentions create your experiences. What did you intend to happen when you look into your past? Do you see that today in your life? Your thoughts and feelings reflect your true intentions. Expectations are the seeds of your intentions. An intention means that you have a set goal and intend to achieve it. Your intentions drive your experiences. Sure I beleive that the present is a reflection of what we have manifested in our lives. Every action or non action has a result.

Sounds like the effect of "Karma". What we have done in the past would affect our future.
People have pattern of how to live each day. If yesterday i have been sunbathing for more than 4 yours, the tomorrow "I" must get sunburn. I can expect another result! Right? If i treat others badly today, i think i can't expect I will be treated nicely in the futurel !!

Sure sounds like it. It might be an over simplification (there are a number of variables we have no control over...), but I think it's a pretty fair assessment.

Today is the tomorrow of yesterday! What we did yesterday has an impact on today and so on.So what we did or received yesterday is an inclination or direct statement of what it is to us today.
