Try frog or dry ice. get lifelike skeletons and spider webs to decorate the outside of the house. The fake spider webs can look really cool if why are placed right. Good luck!

be sure to watch Martha as halloween nears, she always goes overboard with her decorating, maybe see if you can find past issues of her magazine, she has some fantastic ideas

make brownies into the shape of a turd. put corn in them or peanuts. maybe even a penny. call them B.M. brownies. i am not much for decorating, but these are very creepy.

set a human scarecrow on your lawn. When people walk by the scarecrow reaches out and touches them.
