This is so tragic. I have been a huge fan of Steve and his advocacy since 1996. I was at a loss of words. Truly stunned. He left a beautiful legacy behind for his children and others. God bless his wife and family in their time of need. Lets all remember he died doing what he loved. There can be no other way to go. I would just like to thank him, even though he is no longer with us. Thank you Steve and your families for all the hard work and joy you have brought to all of gods creatures. You were truly a gift from God.

Big Drew, someday someone will search his name, and this thread on Y!A will come up. Whoever reads it will see that a lot of people were saddened by the loss of Steve Irwin. Show a little compassion, why don't you.

I would like to send condolences to his family. He was truely a special person, and his love for nature and animals proved it. May he rest in peace.

I agree. It sounds like he went the way he'd have wanted to, but it's still a terribly tragedy for his loved ones. Peace to all.
He was stung in the chest by a stingway out in Queensland. By the time the rescue helicopter arrived, he'd suffered heart failure.

i saw him a few times on animal planet . and i truley feel sorry for his family as well all who knew him to his children as well his wife i am truley sorry at his age of.44. had to depart this life so soon again with deepest simpethy. to his family .as well as friends. ?
