I asked a serious question about afterschool detention and the 2nd answer I got was from a teacher, putting words into my mouth and making it out like I was blaming my stepsons teacher for his actions. He forgot to turn in a couple of homework assignments and she gave him afterschool detention. I agree that school is important but for parents who leave for work at 7:00 am and don't get home till 6:00 pm and work over an hour from their childs school, leaving work early for detention seems extreme. I would have no problem leaving work if my children were sick or had an accident, but to have to leave work 2 hours early so my stepson can stay 30 minutes after school is rediculous in my eyes. Teachers seem to want parents to revolve their lifestyles around what works best for the teacher. I don't think they are babysitters but I think that detention is something that can be done during school, just like it was done when I was a kid, just like it says can be done in the handbook.

I met this guy from online in person. he's a doctor, and kind of cute basically any woman's dream...He told me that he felt uncomfortable with me becasue he thougth that I was much skinnier than I am. I moved here 2 yrs ago. My landlord told me the older lady next door was a good christian woman. She had always been nice to me and was always sweet to my kids. Today she said "I'm forewarning you I'm sitting poison out to kill these cats that keeps pookin in my yard. I hate animals, I don't have a dog in this fence cause I don't like stepping in pook and tracking in my house, so you need to keep your cats inside. me:You can't kill my cats that's cruel. her:I know there's a leash law for dogs, there's one for cats too.she's gonna call the humane society. My cats go outside alot. I can't keep them locked in when their use to outdoors too. It got me all upset. I cried my heart out. I love my cats. I grew up with cats.I'v tried to keep them inside, but they run out everytime the door's open. I have 3 cats, and 2 of them are out right now. They've been in all day, so now I can't get them to come back. What can I do?

Alright iI havent had sex in a long time. One night I have masturbated then my pee started burning, and everytime i went to go pee it would take awhile for it to come out. Then after a few days my pee doesnt burn no more, and after i masturbate it would still take awhile for my urine to come out when i got to the bathroom. That there are a few people here (under several different names) who are not really Christians but very bored non-believers who know a few Bible verses and pretend to be hate-filled Christians? I'm a Christian and Im very aware there are some folks here who also like to try and give non-believers a bad name, but can you spot the gamers when you read them?

When you go to a pool or water park with lots of chlorine, do you wear goggles, nose protectors, a swim cap or bandanna around your head with lots of conditioner underneath, etc.?

Or do you think all that stuff's for nerds and gets in the way of you looking cute at the pool?

I'd sooner have died than wore goggles and covered my hair (I use a bandanna) just a few years ago; now I think, "Well, at least I won't have red eyes and green hair!" :-)
