I had a friend over yesterday with her children....anyways, I allow my children to watch Nickelodeon cartoons-spongebob, danny phantom, etc. Anyways, my children came home from school and turned on their tv. All the children were in their room watching it when my friend told me she does not allow them to watch those shows because "they teach them bad things" and "the parents do not take care of Timmy Turner, the fairies do", etc. I did change the channel but she didn't like the other cartoons either....

What makes me mad is that she lets her children play violent video games because it "teaches perserverance". What ever! I don't ask her not to play those games when I come over.

Isn't that asking too much???

Do you believe that God really created a man, and then made a woman from that man. Then that man and woman ate a piece of fruit because a snake convinced them to which made god hate them so much that he punishes all of their decendants forever? And then there was a big ol flood and only one family was saved and somehow the world was repopulated by that one family...

If you do then why do **YOU** believe it? Notice the emphasis. Don't say "because it's in the bible" because that's not why YOU believe it. What justifies the story in YOUR mind?

My husband and I have been trying to conceive for 3 years now. I have gone to my OB/GYN and have been thru various sonograms to rule out PCOS everything looks fine the Dr. says i just have to be patient. I had my period on July 17 then all of a sudden i bled (very light)on august 3 for 2 days. I have now bled again on August 20th (again very light). What does anyone make of this?? Implantation bleeding?? Has anyone else experienced very light periods within two weeks of each other?? I know you guys aren't doctors but i guess any input is o.k

Was he dirty, rude, cheap, embarrassing, or what? My worst dates have been cheap. One took me to a restaraunt and we only had the chips they serve you before your main meal. To top that off they forgot to charge us for our cokes and he let it slide. Total tab less than 5 dollars.
