He has the talent, but his British folks will never allow him. The Bitish media will harrangue him and practically kill his will power before he gets anywhere - ask Greg Rusegski and Tim Henman. The Brits are their own worst enemies. They will build him and pull him down.

He's an excellent young talent with some seriously good instincts and game. He still has some growing to do. If he continues to train hard, add some muscle and add some zip and consistency to his first serve, he actually has a decent shot. He also needs to improve on managing his emotions...perhaps Gilbert will help with this?

If Murray can develop his serve into a real weapon so holds become easier for him, he will be a force on the tour. Give him a couple more years and the potential is there. It all depends on how hard he is willing to work for it. The physical gifts and instincts are definitely there, they just need to be refined and enhanced. It will certainly be entertaining to watch his progression over the next few years.

I don't think he can.

I know he beated Roger Federer recently. However, it doesn't mean anything. Federer is not a saint, he would lose finally.

For me, Andy Murray is just the same case of Tim Hemman. He will do some result but for the top no. 1 ?? It is a little bit difficult for him.

The time Andy Murray will be number 1 is when all tennis players but him retire.

I saw him play (front-row seats) last year in a small tournament!I I was like "What the... He's in the top 100, what is he doing here anyway?!"...

Well anyway I noticed that he's got quite the temper, you know. He was swearing a lot, screaming and everything. I like him and I hope he becomes #1 one day, but I'm not quite sure he's got the attitude for it.

I would be stunned if he became the number on player in the world. I would be stunned if he ever wins a major.
