The fact that the US blindly supports Israel, promotes dictators in south america and the middle east ( saddam was propmoted by the US, but then removed because he turned against them).

The US cares the least for world prosperity, it is a hypocritical gvt that says one thing and does the opposite behind the scenes. There will never be a united and peacful world as long as oil is the main source of power generation. Oil is the drive for most wars, and America pulls the strings behind the scene.

The UN order Hezbollah's to be disarmed six years ago, but weren't taken seriously because the UN actually doesn't have the teeth to bite just the voice to bark. The UN's charter was to prevent another world war. How they are suppose to do this without a means to enforce their decisions is the real question.

I am not trying to be rude towards you but let me use you in an example.

Say there are three people in an elevator(the planet) and they are trapped in it. I am standing next to you and the other person is off in the corner away from us and they are a police officer(UN). Say you are a pacifist, like Kuwait or Luxemberg, a small place. Say I am a little bit larger and not a pacifist. Say I want the space where you are standing and I start smacking you around to get you to leave. If you have faith in the cop so you look to him to stop me, he stands in the corner and makes notes while I pummel you. You cry to the officer for help and the officer tells me to stop. I don't, and the officer dosen't stop me he just observes me pummel you, and decries my action vocally but his
inaction sends a message to me that he's not going to intervene.
Who's going to help you now.

The UN must work more effectively first. The Holocaust was so terrible that the UN was set up to prevent these things from happening, The UN has watched genocide happen in Africa, Eastern Europe and the Middle East for all the years the UN has existed and they have failed to prevent or stop any of it. Forget the UN or fix it but don't be fooled into thinking it is effective it just isn't.

How can the US be effectiv in the UN when they have NO respect whatsover for the organisation. first, they withold dues. How is the organization supposed to run without money? Then, they disregard any advice or runling when it does not pleases their political agenda. The US politicians behavior towards the UN is a joke.
