Quite simply by getting out of it. It has and always has been against American ideals and sentiments. All we do with the UN is flush money right down the toilet.

Why should it? The UN is a mechanism for the thirld world to stand in front of us with one hand out seeking money and the other hand ****** backed waiting to slap the **** out of us. Why do we continue to provide it with almost 40% (before 1997 it was almost 60%) of its budget when it does nothing but create oil-for-food scandals. Funny how the liberals talk of the ridiculous Bush conspiracy to take Iraqi oil and the UN was doing it for years stealing ten of billions. The UN has the most anti-American agenda in the world while continuing to rely on our money, support and troops. The UN is a farce and should be burned to the ground with communists like Kofi Annan inside

financial help is a political flow. of direction that's coersion. Is it justified coercion? the U. S. does this to many countries that p!ss it off. Why could money be spent to help a usa or employer that works against the U. S..

Disband them, send all delegates home, stop wasting money on something that does not work!

Kofi needs to go. He has little political capital ever since it was found his son's friends had large amounts of money that didn't seem accounted for. His son ran the (apparently lucrative) oil for food program...
Unfortunately we can't do anything about it. Everything seems to be about oil these days...

The first step would be to replace that useless character (probably his credentials) John Bolton would be a first step. And require all diplomats to possess negotiating skills(which is not a high priority on Dubya's list. His solution is dont talk to anyone (his fear is that they will know that he doesnt know what he's talking about)!
