On Tuesday, I bought a Verizon cell phone and cell phone plan. I have had TracFone for the past four years and had wanted to keep my phone number since everyone knows it. The guy at the store told me the number would port over, but it could take anywhere from five minutes to a few days. Well, it's been nearly a week. My number still has not ported over. I'm leaving for college on Friday and it's getting annoying having to carrying around two phones (TracFone for incoming calls, Verizon for outgoing). Is there anything I should do to help the numbers port over quicker? Should I keep the phones on or off? Will turning the phones off effect the amount of time it takes to port the number?

I'm thinking I should have just asked them to give me a new phone number...

Also, should I pay a visit to the Verizon store tomorrow? Or should I wait a few more days?

Okay, here's the thing - my daughters bio-father showed NO interest in her for 5 years. I got remarried & my husband is wonderful with our daughter & she adores him as well....so, all is good...happy family, yeah :)
WELL, the bio-father got remarried recently & has all of a sudden developed the need to pretend like he was trying to see his forgotten daughter the whole time & has filled his new wives head with how horrid I was for "denying" him (okay whatever). Anyway, he is alll of a freakin' sudden filing for sole custody & asking that his almost 40K in CS arrears be dropped. They won't drop it WILL THEY? (TX)
Anyone have any useful info.? thanks!

My best friend, lets just call her "Autum", swore she would not give the boy that likes me, lets just call him "Mike", my phone number. Yet right before she leaves 4 a week in Utah she gives him my number! I find out from a friend that he has my number! and i found out later that "Autum" gave it to him!(some friend) and when she gets back i dont talk 2 her and then confront her i asked her y she gave "Mike" my number, she said bcuz she didnt want to go to instromental and "Mike" was gunna tell and she would get in trouble. Why is it when you are checking out a guy you do not make a move? I mean if you see him checking you out why would't you walk over? I know most of you will say "It's the guy's job to do that". Not true. You all must get approached on a daily basis. Doesn't that get boring? Are some women that scared? I am a bartender so I have to talk to people but why do some women seem almost rude or so like you don't care? but then say "Why didn't he talk to me? When I see that I won't even try at that point. Seems like they are mean as heck. I know not all are like that but what goes through your minds? I am just wondering b/c I have noticed it and at the bar I work at. Any insight? Thanks ladies. you can take a dog for a walk, he'll bark if someone tries to come in your house, teach them tricks... a parrot or budgie can learn to talk. etc, but cats well all they do is moon about and do what they want to, eat and crap, won't come when you call them, wont do tricks, and they wont stop a burglar...useless, yes or no?
