FAFE Famous Rallye Tracks, most important part of Portuguese Grand Prixs.

Portugal is famous for two things – hugely passionate fans and the jumps in the Fafe region, to the east of the Oporto base, on the Atlantic coast. Portugal is the first dry gravel event of the year and its nature varies between fast, smooth gravel and very rough conditions, that deteriorate as each car passes.

Portugal has always been a significant event for the Hyundai team. It was here in 1998 that the team made its first foray in the World Rally Championship, with the Formula 2 (two-wheel drive) coupe.
