Why is it when you are checking out a guy you do not make a move? I mean if you see him checking you out why would't you walk over? I know most of you will say "It's the guy's job to do that". Not true. You all must get approached on a daily basis. Doesn't that get boring? Are some women that scared? I am a bartender so I have to talk to people but why do some women seem almost rude or so like you don't care? but then say "Why didn't he talk to me? When I see that I won't even try at that point. Seems like they are mean as heck. I know not all are like that but what goes through your minds? I am just wondering b/c I have noticed it and at the bar I work at. Any insight? Thanks ladies. As usual, you all rock!

I would make a move, as long as I liked what I saw, and felt confident that the guy was really interested in me, and not just casually checking me out.

Thanks. You rock as well.

This is an easy one. Too often, on a regular basis, men "check out" women, and it gets really annoying after awhile. As a woman, you have to be on your guard because I can tell you from experience, there are too many perverts out there and a lot of guys, if you show any reaction, will say something inappropriate. Many guys just don't know how to behave around women, have nothing polite to say to them, and are just looking for one thing. What I'm saying is that as a woman, you have to be extremely careful. Too many creeps.

Yeah, I feel bad for the guys on my side of the bar, too. With these types of attitudes, it's a wonder anybody ever gets asked out.

Its all about fear of rejection... who wants to walk over to someone and just maybe they were not ataring at them or whatever all those what ifs can kill a girl. If a chick comes on to some guy in a bar "most" men would ask what does this girl really want??

Well, women make the move if they're REALLY interested. Now as the the rude women that you're serving alcohol to... could it just be that they're a little tipsy? Try running a test at your local grocery store and see if they have a different reaction.

We are all creatures of habit, therefore it's a woman's perogative to play the "hard to get" role, if the man rises to the challenge then he would no doubt score more "cookie points" ... if ya know what i mean. At the end of the day, each for their own.

well women. like to be flirtatious. and we think if we go to the men we look eager, desperate, or we look like we are easy. When the men come to us we know we are wanted, and that the guys are coming to us because they like the way we look, or act. It gives us confidence. If we go to them we feel as though we are lettig ourselves down (or we dont have enough confidence). Some women think that if we sit and wait, the guy will come to us. And some women think that if a man aproaches he and she acts as if she doesnt care, he will want her more.
Yeah its confusing but thats how we are

I usually don't approach a guy because I am insecure and feel like he will laugh at me and not think that I am good enough or something...
