Of course, we all want pocket Aces before the flop, but, everyone has a hand that they like better than others. I personally like A-K suited and pocket Queens.

I have three favorite starting hands, other than "Bullets":
1) Pocket 8's. I've won so much money with this hand!
2) Jack - 10 suited -- Lots of ways for this hand to hit... flush, straight, top 2 pair, etc. -- I really like this hand, because a LOT of people will throw away a hand with the top card a jack or a ten. How many flops do you see with no Q's, K's, or A's? LOTS of them!!!
3) Jack -9 suited -- same reasoning as #2 -- the only difference, is that the straight, when it hits, is more disguised... tends to win more money for me than J-10 suited
Quick trivia: Did you know that every straight has either a 5 or a ten in it? Don't believe it -- remove all 5's and 10's from the deck and try to make a straight... can't be done!

2. 9-10 Suit
3. King-Queen Suit
4. Jack-10 Suit
5. Ace-King Suit

Of course two aces but besides them i like hands like 9-10 suited as well as k-q and j-10. A-k is the hand i dislike the most as it is a great pre-flop hand just like a-q but you are going to miss the flop a lot so you have made a big bet before the flop and now you have two callers and the flop comes out 2-7-9 and you have ace high. It sucks unless you have good position on the hand.

I kinda like 6-9 suited. LOL. I know it sounds funny, but I tend to do pretty well with it.

a-k suited has worked very well for me. i also love pocket kings. jacks always screw me lol. but low pocket pairs are my favorite. they always seem to trip
