Thanks for being real and honest. I really appreciate that. Not just because I agree with you.

Well, here is the deal: If you are saved and you are working out your salvation, then no, you are not standing on dangerous grounds. It is implied that when you are saved God takes your life and begins conforming it to Christ's.
However, it has occurred again and again that people lose their faith and denounce Christianity. Were these people saved in the first place? Who knows? It seems impossible that one could be truly saved--which means accepting 100% the free gift of salvation offered by Jesus' death on the cross--and then turn from Christ. Perhaps these formerly "saved" people merely professed to believe but did not have total faith.
As I said, who knows.
I understand your question, though. You appear to be asking that if you have accepted the gift of salvation and then go around slaying people for fun or profit that you get to sin against God all you want and still expect to be redeemed.
I just personally can't see someone who has fully accepted the gift going around and willfully sinning against God. Because one thing that God gives you on your walk with Christ is humility. Another is gratitude. If you are living in gratitude and humility--and working out your salvation--how is it possible that you could turn and become ruthless, megalomaniacal, murderous, and so forth?
The devil surely could tempt someone away from Christ. Yet if that person was saved, and now is in service to Satan, are they still saved?
The short answer is that I don't know. Theologically, I don't know. My opinion--which amounts to a box of Cracker Jacks--is that it seems that in such cases one would lose their salvation.
I'm sorry that I am unversed and cannot give you a certain answer. Hopefully someone wiser than I will answer you fully.

We're all standing on dangerous ground. Read 1 Corinthians 6:9-11. Read each word and meditate on it. There is no such thing as once saved always saved. Judas was one of the twelve, he was baptized and personal taught by Jesus and he allow Satan to overtake him. Do you think it was once saved ALWAYS saved for him? No! and it's not for you or me either. We have to work at our spirituality every day because if we put our standing with God at risk, we loose it.

No, you are not on dangerous or shifty ground. You are standing on the Solid Rock of Jesus Christ. But you have to be conscious of the fact that you are a human being, with an inherent quality to go sinning at the drop of a hat. Ask God for forgiveness and and ask Him to guard you against falling into the sin trap again and again . GBU

If you believe that you can just get saved and go on living like hell, yes you are standing on dangerous ground. That shows no repentence and without repentence there is no salvation.

God's word is right and anytime you take a position in opposition to it, you are on the wrong path. Dangerous grounds?? The road to destuction is cramped and many are the ones traveling there. What do you think now??

Not if you adhere to the precepts and principles found in the following passage you're not.
2 Peter 1:5 For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge, 6 and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness, 7 and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love. 8 For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they keep you from being ineffective or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 For whoever lacks these qualities is so nearsighted that he is blind, having forgotten that he was cleansed from his former sins. 10 Therefore, brothers, be all the more diligent to make your calling and election sure, for if you practice these qualities you will never fall.

Yes!!!!
We need to work out our salvation every day.
God will never leave or forsake you, that much is true. On the other hand we have a choice to make all the time to serve God or not. If you chose not to serve God, you turn your back on Him and He will not force you to serve Him. Rather he allows you to walk away if you want.

personally, i think that being saved ensures that you have God in your heart and soul, but that should automatically go in tandem with doing good works too. If you truly have accepted God then it is only logical that you should live your life doing good works. it's the combination of both go hand in hand, can't have one without the other.

No, for if you argue otherwise, then you are left with the propoition that salvation is not a gift, but a constant debt to be paid, thereby negating the effect Jesus' sacrifice. If a bill is paid, there is no need to leave a tip.
