Thanks for the 1rst answer regarding central air. We have approximately 630 square feet of living space on each of 3 floors. the central unit is a Heil, 2.5 ton. there are 5 vents on 2nd floor (2 bedrooms and bath), as well as a return and thermstat (next to return). There are 4 vents in 2 large rooms on 1rst floor. Also 2 vents in basement. I was was told by another that we shouldnt try to cool basement so I just closed them.

After tracking the temp. 4 past 3 days we found that , if the thermstat. is set for 67, the 1rst floor temp goes up to 75-76. If thermstat. set for 70, 1rst floor goes 76-78 degrees. On the heatwave days the 1rst floor temp. reached 85 degrees.

The contractor said he will replace 2.5.unit with a 3 ton, but I'm worried that we will have same problem, and there is no room for more vents. Would putting in a Mitsubishi unit for the 1rst floor be better? Some one mentioned a damper; what is that exactly? Any recomendations? Thanks much.

I put up a similar question but I was hoping for more answers and to hear from the female population. My ex and I split up after 2.5 years about 3 months ago, she has a daughter who I LOVE, we had brokend up a few times and always got back together, but this time it was for real. I've met a girl and we went out a few times, she's fallen pretty hard for me, I like her, and am taking it slow, don't want to rush into anything, well my ex is pretty upset over this, she had hoped I'd fight for her and not want anyone else. I care a lot about her and dont' want to hurt her or the other girl.
I can say that she gave the relationship 120%, whereas I did not even give 100%. Should I give it one more go, or let it be and see where this new relationship goes?

Allow me to explain. I am not advocating outlawing marriage and it would never happen anyway. I just want to open this for discussion and see what others think.

The question is if the practice of the government acknowledging marriage is discrimination. All men are created equal, but married men are treated differently than single men under the laws of our nation such as tax laws and other laws.

The government randomly decided that marriage would be two people, one man one woman. And they are not allowing more than two people or same sex people to have the same rights. This is discrimination and is contrary to our constitution.

In Utah, polygamists are arrested because they marry more than one person. They are all free-thinking individuals of expressing their freedoms and what right does the government have to forbid this?

I understand that this would make tax laws hopelessly complicated to allow polygamy. Also, it would be hard to change society's views.

But does anyone agree?
