it's a matter of personal taste. i never liked beer until i tried drinking dark beers. then i realized i just didn't enjoy the beers that most folks drink - and most folks i know don't enjoy dark beer. so, much like finding the wine that is right for your palate - you have to be a bit adventurous and go tasting until you find what appeals to you.

Personal taste. I don't think much of mass produced American beer like Bud and Miller. Though some friends brought me a some local brew from their town, and that was good. Small local brews are usually a better bet in general. Belgians really know what beer about. France and Italy are great for wine but the beer is poor. I'm Irish,Guinness is my prefered brew, it's not a beer though it's a stout.

John Cleese, the British comedian, described American beer as frozen gnat's urine, though personally I find British beer warm which is worse. Irish beers are so so (with the exception of the stouts ; )

I'd say small local ones, but again depends on taste.

well the poles think polish beer is the best but I think most european beers are good because they have full bodied flavor and most american beers taste watered down and like they used to say when I was in the Air Force "tastes like coyote piss".

purchase some belgian type beers. they are very fruity and do not flavor very reminiscent of beer in any respect. you should stumble on a shop that sells lots of of sorts of beer. There should be someone in there to point you interior the right route. may even provide samples. also, you may want to attempt procuring some syrups from the great marketplace to blend with the bud user-friendly to mask the horrid flavor.

Depends on your taste buds. I like Yeungling (spelling?) and Modelo *****. I don't care for American brand beers. They seem to leave a nasty after-taste.
