what is importance of films?how they effect on youth?any advantages r disadvantages?

yes movies do have an impact on ppl so i guess dey r important but dn agn it depends on the type of movie also. If its a popcorn flick den i dont think it;ll have much effect otherwise if movies like Yuva, RDB,Haazoron Khwaishe Aisi, Iqbal etc...are made they certainly have an inspiring effect, they give u sense of assurance,motivation that nething is possible. like there's 2 sides to a coin movies can also have an disadvantegeous effect but it mostly depends on how the writer or director wants to put across his msg, that clarity of thot is important.That alone decides wat kinda effect it will have on the viewer.

Its not just films, its evreything the kid has in contact with real world. (Music, internet, television, magazines etc)

There are advantages to watching films like films that try to get a life lesson across and there are other films that contain violence, sexual innuendos that kids are not old enough to understand. Kids absorb things willingly when they are young: think of the barbie dolls and action figures and star war toys and pokemon they have. Films are no different; they can convince youth of anything.

But its not so much the films themselves but what the parents should watch out for. For instance, if you let your kid see Jaws without them knowing sharks dont exist in all parts of the world, the kid might be frightened so much and not go into the water. If he was older, having knowledge about sharks and even see how fake the shark is, then he can tell right from wrong. Some movies suitable for adults are not suitable for kids.

Kids can find out whats right and wrong either on their own or by parents telling them.

ya it affects a lot. some years back my cousin saw a film in which the hero is a carpenter and the rich heroine loves him and married him.with in a short time he becomes rich and they lead a happylife.seeing this she told she will marry only a carpenter.i told her only in the film poorpeople become rich with in a shortperiod. so think practically. it is not an easyjob.but she married a carpenter last year.now they dont have money even to pay their houserent. he is a chainsmoker and a drunkard.he spends most of his money for that.why you people want to suffer in such a young age there are manything in life other than love and marriage. think about it .

i imagine the movie reflects what's taking position at present particularly than the movie encouraging the youngsters of at present. also, its not each and every of the youngsters of at present curious about crime, and its not only youngsters. there have been a large number of reports about people over 25, curious about stabbing, shootings etc.
