Thank God if she does run. A republican would beat her easy.

No, she absolutely cannot win. And I'm a Democrat. Ah Ha is totally right: if Hillary should win the Democratic nomination, a Republican will win the presidency.

Hillary is an extremely polarizing force in politics. She regularly makes the lists of both the most admired women in America and the most hated women in America. She has disingenuously pandered to conservatives, trying to build a broader constituency. As she does this she erodes her own base.

Meanwhile, good old boys will never vote for her. The shadow of Vince Foster still hangs over her head. For Dems to win they would have to field a moderate, good-looking, White, Southern male. Too bad that's the sad reality of American politics today. It's all about appearance over substance.

Liberals believe what ever they want to believe regardless of fact.

But I don't think you realize the threat here. John Kerry won 49% in 04 and he is the most liberal senator there is. Hillary appeals to the female voter and more center swing voters. I am from Ohio and if you don't remember we were responsible for her hubby Bill Clinton taking office. We are one of the biggest swing states and I will work diligently to see someone like Newt Gingrich wins in 08.

Hilary will never win a presidential election. She changed her residence just to become a senator, because she felt New York would be the easiest state to be elected in. She does not have the people of New York in the forefront of her mind, she is using NY as a stepping stone to the White House. I hope the people of NY can see right through her facade. She has very little experience and would be a poor president because she would focus on womens issues and not the country as a whole. Not that womens issues are not important but a president cannot focus on just one area, but rather the entire country. I hope she never becomes the president.

Don't count on - she could surprise you. And what's wrong with having a woman president? Oh I know, you want the female Bush clone - Condi Rice. Or are you afraid Hillary would be a better president than that idiotic moron that we're stuck with now? Good grief, my dog could do a better job than George Bob Bush and Dickie "The Shooter" Cheney!! Or maybe the thought of a strong woman terrifies you? Hillary in '08!!!!!

most liberals despise her because of her do-nothingness on the lies that led us to war and because of her pandering on the flag amendment. it's like the conservatives always said about her - she has no principles. some people think if she got elected, we'd get bill back, but the fact is, she could never get elected.

btw, liberals don't believe al gore invented the internet - but newt gingrich did say gore was the single most influential person in the creation of the civilian internet. and i thank gore for it every day. here's gore's actual statement: “During my service in the United States Congress, I took the initiative in creating the Internet,” Gore said. “I took the initiative in moving forward a whole range of initiatives that have proven to be important to our country’s economic growth, environmental protection, improvements in our educational system." Here's Gingrich:
GINGRICH: In all fairness, it’s something Gore had worked on a long time. Gore is not the Father of the Internet, but in all fairness, Gore is the person who, in the Congress, most systematically worked to make sure that we got to an Internet, and the truth is—and I worked with him starting in 1978 when I got [to Congress], we were both part of a “futures group”—the fact is, in the Clinton administration, the world we had talked about in the ’80s began to actually happen.
