I work in Human Resources, and I LOVE my job. It's great...sometimes I know more about people than they know about themselves. For example if they are about to get fired. LOL. Actually, I find that no one seems to even notice the HR Dept. until their paycheck is wrong or their benefits were cut off because they never bothered to send in their Open Enrollment forms, even though they had about 6 or 7 reminders.

It sounds as if I'm bitter, and I'm not really, but I do love all the day to day interactions with staff, and the fact that you never know what the day is going to bring you....you could have your whole day planned out, and then the phone rings, and BOOM----time to go put out a huge fire! I love the fact that no two days are the same. And I learn something new every day. Pretty cool.

so i have been in this long distance relationship for more than a year now, and my girlfriend just went to a different university than the one i go to. in past, we used to talk on the phone constantly and i didnt mind the long distance relationship. and now that she's at college, she barely ever has time to talk on the phone. and when i confronted her on why she's always busy, she started crying about how stressful college has been and i should be more supportive of her. and she kept telling me that she loves me so much, and dont want to lose me. i do believe her when she says that, but i also cannot go along knowing that she's never free to talk to me. and i also dont think i can let her go without hurting myself emotionaly. i do trust her in that she's not going to cheat on me and she loves me, and i guess i too care about her a lot in the return. but the situation is getting messier and messier with each day. what should i do
