I don't understand it. A few decades ago, it was okay to spank your kids with a belt or paddle. Now, that's considered "bad parenting." For adults here, how were you raised as a child? If you were spanked with a belt or another object, why do you think adults that were raised in the same era so anti-spanking now? It appears to be a new phenomeon. How can that be so? Parents these days are too permissive. They treat their kids like puppies. They dress them up in pretty clothes, buy them lots of toys and have a little chair for them to sit in for time-out if them misbehave.

I think it's pathetic that the psychologists have jumped on the "talk it out" method with toddlers. Seriously. I want to be a psychologists, but I'm afraid to advocate spanking because I don't want my colleages to gasp in shock.
Before I get "omgz, don't beat your kids," relax. I know about the horrors of child abuse. Trust me. But I see nothing wrong with a calm spanking, even if it is with a belt

Marriage is what it is until death. ONCE married , ALWAYS married until death. Hey I do understand of being in an abruseful relationship ........ I was in it so I know what it is to live in. But that is no reason to get a divorce and than remarry to someone else. Getting remarry to someone else is going into adultery that means one way ticket to hell. If we are free totally from our ORDAINED spouse than God would NOT say what he said in Mark 10 : 11-12 , Luke 16 : 18. I won't get a divorce but my ONE & ONLY ordained husband { Paul Heinz } is for 4 years now and it's going to be more longer for him to get it. I feel so sorry for our 3 kids because they are going through a lot of hurt & pain from their Father's actions for his divorce plus from their Father's girlfriend being abruseful to them. I will ALWAYS live alone until my husband dies than I will remarry. It's the honorble & right thing to do. I feel so sorry for those people who got remarried to someone before their true mate dies

There is a skunk living under my house. It wouldn't really be a problem, but it fights with my dog. Last time they fought, it sprayed his face and he seems to have suffered some loss of vision. So, I guess I have two questions; is there anything I can do about his vision loss? And, how can I get rid of the skunk, without killing it?

This lady from a different department knows when we have potlucks. she always shows up, grabs tons of food and doesn't even say thanks. We told her it was only for people who contribute, and she went away and brought back an opened bottle of flat diet soda. She said that was her contribution and grabbed a bunch of pizza. Nobody even drinks diet soda here. How can I get this woman---politely---to stop mooching off of us?

why do atheists want to remove God from everything because it "offends them" they are offended by a God they don't even beleive in, they want "In God we trust" taken off our money and "Under God" taken out of the pledge of allegiance, if they don't beleive in God, how can he offend them.

I always wondered if the whole 6 degrees of seperation thing actually worked. I mean there have been times where I met someone who knew other people I know, BUT I never actually got the chance to meet or know someone who I don't know but would like to know. Me and my ex been together for 4 years, we plan to get marry and have kids soon. but one day things changed so fast i dont know how to accept it? one night i went home shes not there so i called her where did you go? she said out drinking with a guy friend i only heard about once or twice, never met him before. so she came home like almost 6 am , so i was pissed in the morning didnt talk to her for the whole day until night time we sat down and talk about whats going on with our relationship? she said her feelings changed toward long time ago just doesnt know how to tell me? i told her lets move to another state and start over , she said give me some time. next night she did it again went out , i call her like atleast 50 times no pick up or call back until morning she came home like nothing happen or matters to her, so i told her to pack somethings and get out, cause i was so piss off she doenst realize i was worry sick about her . she wont admit it that shes with the guy whole night.

I have a lot of scars on my legs from when I was younger (my skin used to be really sensitive), & now I feel really self-conscious & won't wear anything other than pants (even if it's 1000 degrees outside)...& sometimes it's really depressing!

I just don't know what to do to permanently get rid of them.

Any suggestions?
