The Feast of the Assumption was originally celebrated as the "Memory of Mary" and was centered around Mary's tomb, and there were no other relics of Mary to be venerated.

At the Council of Chalcedon in 451, when bishops from throughout the Mediterranean world gathered in Constantinople, Emperor Marcian asked the Bishop of Jerusalem, St Juvenal, to bring the relics of Mary to Constantinople to be enshrined in the capitol.

The Bishop explained to the emperor that there were no relics of Mary in Jerusalem, that "Mary had died in the presence of the apostles; but her tomb, when opened later, was found empty and so the apostles concluded that the body was taken up into heaven."

At the time there were no statements against this assumption.
Catholics believe that Mary had no sin including original sin. (She was recognized for being full of grace and blessed among all women, hence the title "Immaculate Conception".)

When my wife was 14 years old she had abnormally large breasts for her age (double DD -E) and had a breast reduction (NOW a C-D). She is now almost 30 years old and we are in talks of having a child. She pretty much knows that she won't be able to breast feed but she asked if her breasts will still have milk in them? Can anyone explain how this will work? Thanks
