be adults about it and dont fight over material things, and if there are kids involved dont fight about them, work things out between you, and make sure you agree on everything in the paperwork, when you try or the other person tries to take everything they can get it gets very costly.

You can go to your local court house and get the papers u need to file for a divorce that way depends on the state u r in for the price and way to do it. Or u can look in your phone book and call all the lawyers and find the chepest one usually go from 2 to 5 hundred dollars depending on how difficult your spouse wants to be. But with a cheap lawyer it usually goes smoother cause then he does all the work and gets it done right the first time. And most lawyers will let u make payments until they get their retainer fee so depends on how fast and smooth u want it done.

In most states you can go to the court house and get the paperwork yourself. As long as you and your spouse agree on terms you can file yourselves

look in your local newspaper, there are lots of typing services that can type up your papers for you then you just go file them at the court house
