Lavender sauce

1 stick butter not margarine
2 teaspoons of lavender
2 tablespoons of sugar
½ cup light cream

Melt one stick of butter.Remove from heat. Grind 2 teaspoons of lavender, 2 tablespoons of sugar and add to butter. Let sit for 5 minutes then place pan over low heat and add ½ cup of cream and stir constantly until sugar is dissolved. Do not let sauce curdle or get too hot!

Might sound weird but is great with red meat, serve grilled corgettes with it yuum!

make some nice fresh salad consisting of red onion, sage and basel, mixed with some raisens and a little pineapple - leave to rest.

Season the edges of the steak with ground pepper. Cook to medium-well done....

While the steak is cooking, make a nice pepper and corriander sauce.

Take two very large mushroom and remove the stem - place in oven and bake until golden brown.

Take out of the oven, place on left hand side of plate and pour the sauce into the mushrooms, then take your steak, place along side the Steak - strew some of the salad over the top of the steak and then serve as it is or together with some mash potato.

...Just a thought

Steak with a sauce. Either blue cheese, or garlic cream or pepper sauce

You could try to make pepper steak with green peppers and onions served over rice with green beans. Cut your steak in to cubes and cook how you see fit. Make a brown gravy to pour over the steak and green peppers and onions once they are done cooking. I'm sure you know how to make rice and green beans and you have a quick and simple meal.

I cut Sirloin steak in thin strips, and saute peppers and serve on tortillas. It is quick and very tasty. This goes good with Spanish rice also.
