I like this guy I play music with, but he is sending mixed signals. He is friendly and kind, but I once mentioned having been in love in the past & he got a look of fear and trembling in his eyes. Also, he looks afraid when I have mentioned that I was doing something with people on Friday--as if he was afraid to hear I was on a date. Also, I mentioned having gotten a little tired of people talking shop, and he said nervously that he does that sometimes. He was flirty when we first met, but now he tends to be much more serious around me. Sometimes I think he is shy, but sometimes, he just seems plain terrified. I do not think I am doing anything so horrible, other than being friendly and open, but not pushy. Yesterday, I used "sexy" as an adjective, and he just about fell off his seat. I want to break the tension somehow, but I don't know what to do. While I have gotten to know him and he had never once mentioned a gf, but I just found out he has one. Any decoders out there?

for any amount of time? and how many of you are willing to give it away to illegal immigrants. i did, for 6 years, my husband for 10, we protected the constitution, we may not have beleived in some of the things we had to do, but we beleived in this country and what it stands for, and i am not willing to sit here and let this country be over run by people who just want money and do not want to be americans. any of you?

soulmates don't need to be romantically linked to you. soulmates are simply that: souls you've been with in the past. i've met a lot in this lifetime: a daughter who is now my HS bestfriend; a girlfriend (i used to be a guy) who is ow my college bestfriend; a husband who is now my bf; a suitor who became my ex-hubby (never really fit i guess); another hubby who CAN'T even be my bf this lifetime because it's simply not meant to be.

have you met soulmates and recognized them?

Islam says that Mohamed is the "Last" prophet of God sent to deliver the true Gospel and Gods instructions (the Qu'ran). If Jesus delivered the Gospels why was Mohamed neccessary? Did the Romans/Pagans destroy/re-write the Gospel delivered by Jesus?

If Athiests were to wipe ALL of you out (meaning no f'in islam or christianity, or judaism, or buddism, or ANY of that crap) would it NOT be reasonable to believe that the world, as a whole, would be a better place? I mean, honeslty, all you people do is ***** and moan and complain about how your god is the only one and yadda yadda yadda. So get rid of ALL of you and those of us with common sense could make a more practical and uninsane world. Really, what IS your purpose to exist OTHER than to cause strife and hatred for others?

Calling yourself Mexican-American if you are Mexican, yet have American citizenship?

I consider myself Mexican-American. I am Mexican, I was born in America. I love it here and I would never leave it, but I also love Mexico.

I hate to see each of my countries fight, but it happens. Just because people call themselves Mexican-American doesn't mean they are more Mexican.

It means they are Mexican race-wise, but American citizen-wise.

Please understand this. Whay are your thoughts?

I decided to calculate my BMI by the formula I found in Shape magazine. The formula is your current weight times 730. Then, you divide that number by your height in inches. Next, you divide that number by your height in inches again.

After I did this, I decided to see what my BMI was from my BMI calculator I bought. You hold it out in front of you.

The difference is about 5-7%. The formula told me I was overweight, but the BMI calculator told me I was obese.

My question is, which should I believe? The formula or the calculator?
