Honestly, I don't condone such relationships. All that I can say is that I don't think that you should. There isn't just the problem with him being so much older than yourself, what you should understand is that someone who is 23 years old has nothing in common with a 14 year old, and if they do, they've never grown up. Consider the fact that he is older than you and can make you feel that he is always right because he has more experience in convincing people of things. No matter how mature you feel you are, at 23, you'll be able to fool a 14 year old into believing plenty. Being with him can scar you without you even knowing that you are being scarred. For your mental and emotional health in the future, I strongly suggest that you end all ties with him and consider someone our age or within the range of 2 years.

When you're 23, do you see yourself going out with a 14 year old guy? You're very young and there are a few concepts that you might not understand. Desperation, manipulation, and statutory rape. Someone who is 23 and going out with a minor has problems. And this guy is giving you problems. One day when you grow in understanding, you're going to look back at this time and be upset at what this guy is putting you through. Please be a kid, learn quickly and never see that guy again.

No you should not. The government would say that your ex is breaking a law or two and could be looking at a lot of jail time. If you care about your ex, and judging from the fact you are thinking about getting back with him it seems like you do, then do him a favor and keep him out of prison, because when he is in jail he will be someones girlfriend, and that's no fun.
Also if you were my child your ex would be looking at the buisness end of a very, very big gun.

No offense intended because it is only your age that makes me say this, but you shouldn't try to get him back. If he's that old and willing to be with a person as young as you there is something wrong with him. Really... Find someone 14 to maybe 17.

If he is 23 and you are 14, he shouldn't be ex in the first place. He is way too old for you. He needs someone his age and you need someone yours. What you two are doing would be considered illegal in the US and most western nations.

I've been there, and if he wasn't after anything more than sex, he would get someone who is at least not going to get him thrown in Jail.

No. Your relationship with him could land him in jail--EVEN if you consent. If you care about him, which I have to say is pretty creepy in the first place, leave this relationship and date someone closer to your age. Sorry, its just not right on his part.
