I am in the army now, i love my country and was in iraq when the protests were going on and i was so upset when i saw the mexican flag above the american flag, and hanging the flag upside down. I am all for closing the borders and deporting illegal immigrants. It is time that we fixed our country from within and make it great again. I am proud to be american and want my countrymen to feel the same way. Do they truly believe that they should be able to protest a government that they dont even belong to? Maybe if they had the courage to protest in their own country, they could make their own country great.

I have been in for 5 years, and I dont believe we are giving the country away at all, in fact, we are doing everything we can to protect it. I believe that if anyone wants to be a citizen of this country, they should have to go through the naturalization process just like everyone else, if that is what you mean. I agree, and the American people should continue to believe in this country and what it stands for, and we should also continue to enforce the laws that we have established.

Millions have. And I see many servicemen are talking up--the government will be backed in that corner soon because more than 80% say No Amnesty and close the borders. they can't resist that for much longer.
And the biggest mistake that some are going to make is too have a march on labor day. But they haven't used much sense so far.
Not yahoo but their are some Military chat rooms--and the boys from home say things might get sticky if Amnesty is given. And those boys are all races and religions and all American

My father proudly served in WWII. I think it is a good thing that he is now deceased. He would have a very had time dealing with the immigrant problems we are having.
If someone wants to come to this country that is fine but they need to do it legally and they need to learn our language.

USMC 8 years.
Hmmm, protected the Constitution?
Did you know Article I section 8 gives Congress, and only Congress the authority to declare war? And that the last declaration of war was Dec 11th 1941?
All orders given in conjuction with a defacto non declared war are unlawfull orders, and by their very nature are to not be followed.
What part of the Constitution addresses immigration?

I served, Volunteered for duty to my country. Proud member of the largest "gang" on the face of the earth. I willingly took an oath to defend this nation and constitution from ALL enemies, both foreign & domestic. This is simply another arena of conflict, Maintaining observation of insurgents until further action is required. 1- Ocean Tango out.

My dad is a Viet Nam vet. My husband also served in the Navy.
I wish to extend my deepest gratitude to you and your husband and all of the other U.S. veterans who have served my country. I have the greatest respect and adoration for all of you. You represent America.....
...and I agree with you. We are not, as Americans going to sit by and let the criminal invasion from Mexico just continue without uttering a word about it. You are right. Americans have always stuck together and we will always stick together.
