If light traveling in one direction will end up in the same place after a trip around the universe, then the brightest spots in our galaxy might be seen in several spots on the firmament likely at different stages in time. Could we consider the sky as a huge space/time mirror? Could we verify this hypothesis?

i am a young 23 yr. mother of 3 youngest 8months i have no job i got laid-off its slow season here(usvi)i moved back home i live with my grandparents an aunt&her daughter i just finally got out of an abusive relationship now i am broke i got credit card bill,hospital bills and a loan to pay back i am really struggling this is not a scheme or con to get easy money,i really really need it i need help my boys live with their dad now cause i cant support them and i am at risk of having to let my daugter go as well i dont want to do this please is there any one out there who can help me i wont be like this forever but for now it really sucks im going back to get my ged in september .please dont feel sorry for me but i really need the help .they say ask and you shall recieve!i feel like shi* for asking though but i need it.

From what I have been able to gather from this site, the majority of you seem to have been raised with a religion initially. I am one of what must be a smaller percent that was born and raised a non believer. So I suppose I am lucky that my parents are no different, likewise most of our family, and I never had to deal with telling my family I no longer believed.

I was just wondering how did the rest of you deal with that, "coming out" about it, so to speak, if your family is religious?

Im goin to TN where my ex lives for a tennis tourny and look at property. After we broke up we were great friends and we stayed great friends when she got a new b/f who treats her like sh!t and her fam hates him and hes just an ***. Even w/a b/f i would still texting goodmorning to her almost everymorning to make her feel loved cuz her b/f doesnt. She stopped talking 2 me about 2 months ago cuz I stopped texing her in the morning so she would see what life w/o me beng there for her is like so she stopped talking to me. I know shes thinking of me cuz she deleted m eoff myspace and says how great her b/f is and how hes the best ever trying to get to me. I want to meet and talk w/her in TN and my plan is not to tell her im goin to TN but just spur of the moment and say meet me at a place and ill be there from a certain time and see if she shows up and will talk to me about what happened and why we fell apart. Is that a good idea?
