I am a single mother of 3 small children, trying to go to school for a better life for all of us, and working full time. My kids father doesn't want to help me financially or anything. I can't find a babysitter for my kids, and things are just not good.

I want to enroll my kids at a school that they would be there 5 days a week and then be home on the weekends. The school isn't far from me, but I will not be able to see them whenever I want. Only on the weekends. Is it fair to want them to be there so that I can do what I need to in order to provide a better life for them in the future, or am I being selfish? Am I abandoning my motherly duties?

Mind you, I have no help, and whoever does want to help wants me to pay for everything, but the father does not have to do anything in their eyes. And that would be because they are his family. I have no family up here.

My son has started spitting up after every formula feeding. I changed him once already from Similac to Good Start because of gas. He did really well with that one for the first week but seems to be going back to his old problems. Sometimes he spits up a big amount and other times just a tiny bit. Should I be concerned? How long should you "try" a formula before deciding it didn't help?

I have a great man right now. But I cant get my x out of my head. Ever !!! It wasnt a bad breakup and in fact if I didnt have the man im with now , I would be with him. I love the guy im with he is the best thing thats ever happened to me in a long time.
Whats wrong here ? Im getting too old to be playing with people and need to do something about it , anyone have a suggestion ?

I am 18 Im in love a 22 year old man. The age is not a problem for my mother. Its his occupation being that hes a hustler she feels I could do better. I was in line buying a lot of school supplies, for my students, and some guy behind me said "wow, you must have a lot of kids!" I was in line by myself (no kids), with 10-15 of each item that I was buying. Why would someone say that? Could it be that I'm a teacher? Could it be that I'm buying to donate supplies? Or is it because I'm black and shopping in the middle of the day, it's natural to assume that I must have a gaggle of kids waiting for me at home?
