I have a great man right now. But I cant get my x out of my head. Ever !!! It wasnt a bad breakup and in fact if I didnt have the man im with now , I would be with him. I love the guy im with he is the best thing thats ever happened to me in a long time.
Whats wrong here ? Im getting too old to be playing with people and need to do something about it , anyone have a suggestion ?

You just have to learn to be happy with what you have, though it sounds like you are. Just try to focus on the present and what you have in front of you. It sounds like your ex will always hold a special place in your heart which is fine, and completely natural. Just because you think about him doesn't mean you dont love your current guy any less. Unfortunately i think you need to wait this kind of thing out. Time heals all.

confront your ex, youll see hows hes doing and maybe something about him changed that turns you off... if not just talk to him for a awhile and catch up with him maybe you will hit it off as friends but if you think your feelings are still strong for him, you should go with what you think but start off slow first. now your man may not like it but tell him you have an issue with your ex thats haunting you and you feel that talking to him will make it go away.. if you fall for him go with your heart but remember the reason why you and your ex split up in the first place.

i wish i knew. I have the greatest girlfriend ever but i still have feelings for someone else and i am trying my hardest to get rid of em i even talked to my girlfriend about it and she said theyre always gonna be there... i talked to the girl and explained why i cant have feelings for her and something about talking to both my girlfriend and the girl i had feelings for seemed to help... but it also ended with a night of my girlfriend crying and myself crying because at first it seemed that i wanted to go out with the other girl and i was scared as hell that i would lose my girl friend.
