how do i tell my best friend i am in love with him?

i have known him for about a year and i love everything about him. i dont know wether i should let my other friend tell him how i feel or if i should do it myself. and i dont know when and where to tell him. we have a thing at my school tonight and im wondering if i should tell him there, or wait so i can tell him in private. and if i do tell him him what should i say? someone plzzz help me

what if he doesnt like me back. then im afraid it might be like akward between us.

ask him if he wants to go grab a bite with you. go on an informal date/not date in some quiet place with booths that isn't very fancy. split something to eat (so that your hands may accidentally brush...) and if your old enough, a couple of beers (always set the mood). laugh. talk. have a good time. wear a low cut shirt and lean forward when your talking. smile. start flirting- lower your voice, look him deeply in the eyes and say something, it can be simple- like "i love your eyes..." or "have you been working out?" or "you're so good with numbers. could you help me with my math homework?". if he flirts back, continue. if not, play it off as a joke. i doubt you'll have to do that, though.

Well what I would do is ask him out....if he says yes, then you know he likes you too. I have heard from many people that guys liked to be asked out. If he says no...then says something like can we still be best friends and act like this never happened? Just pray over it and maybe you will get lucky!
