To explain why conservatives are not without compassion read the following.

One time, when I was living in western Washington, I was doing some volunteering for the National Park Service and I didn't have much money, except for the meager stipend for food they provide.

While walking through the streets of Seattle about that time with a friend, a homeless man came up to me and asked me for money.

I only had ten dollars in the world until my next stipend check, about a week away. I gave the man the ten dollars. Literally all the money I had in the world, and just smiled and said there you go buddy.

This was not a blind man, a handicapped person, etc. but just a man not working begging for money.

The liberal thinks that the man needs a social program. The conservative understands that the man needs to get a job.

I understood this too, but I wasn't so stingy as to withhold from the man my entire liquid assets.

Does this make me a hard hearted conservative?

loser virgin?

I'm still a virgin by choice. Im very openminded to sex and want to try everything but nooo i have morals. I want to lose it to someone i truelly love and loves me. Problem is im getting impatient. Its hard enough finding a date but falling in love with a guy? Should i just find someone i trust and have sex with them so i can go have fun or keep waiting for that guy and do those things with him?

Has anyone left a corporate career for culinary school? If so, why and what was the result?

I've been corporate for 7 years, but find myself stressed and in a scary frame of mind. Additionally, I am of the opinion that my health is at risk (blood pressure, migraines, other stress related ailments). Any input?

i read God said that non-muslims will despise and misunderstand muslims till the end of the world. do u?

just asking...my penpal is a muslim in US and she said its hard when ur taught to respect other religions, when other religions misunderstand her as a terrorist. she wears a scarf/hijab to cover her head and many have made fun of her. i pity her because she is a very nice girl.so i was wondering y is she being stereotyped like that...any answers?

who else thinks they make to much of a hype on sequels or remakes?

i hate it when they keep making sequels some movies seem they never die. being a big fan of film noir movies .i just do not watch the remakes anymore.
with as much money they make on movies you would think they would be more creative or at least use ideas from some of these great novel authors
