Since it isn't provided WHERE the person "I" is, when forming this utterance, we cannot tell exactly what is being said. But it stands to reason that the person is somewhere other than Montreal, have just arrived there and are planning to continue onto Montreal on the following day. That's the only way that statement could be true.

I agree with the first answer--- you arrived at your current place yesterday and tomorrow you will arrive in Montreal. this makes the best sense, because even with time changes it wouldn't be logical for this to happen.

you have made it big time and now you have money to spare for luxury trips and your first destination is to be Montreal because due to the celebration your friends are giving you today to celebrate your winfall of money you got yesterday you have to wait until then to fufill your dreams of travel and good times. philosophical speaking . In laymans terms you arrived from somewhere yesterday to whereever you are now and will be continuing on to Montreal tomorrow. Have a great trip

the only thing I can think is that they are coming from someplace that is on a different timeline than Montreal Like say someplace that is about 6 to 12 hours later . the only other thing would be that they consider Montreal a little backward which if you have ever been to montreal you know that isn't right.

you didn't say you arrived in Montreal yesterday. you could have arrived spiritually or had a revelation yesterday, not arrived at a geographical location per se.
