i hate it when they keep making sequels some movies seem they never die. being a big fan of film noir movies .i just do not watch the remakes anymore.
with as much money they make on movies you would think they would be more creative or at least use ideas from some of these great novel authors

I'm tired of remakes. There has got to be someone in Hollywood with a little bit of an imagaination and creativity!

In terms of sequels it depends on the film. Stars Wars and Godfather seemed to have been able to achieve it. However, some movies like Halloween and Nightmare on Elm Street just degrade because a couple things worked out box office wise. I loved Underworld but hated Underworld Evolution. This is what happens when you rest on your laurels. Remakes just seem to be a bad idea in general. What makes someone think they can do better? Sequels can be okays and remakes are bad.

It runs in cycles. we are at the instant in a era the place it variety of appears like countless important photograph is a remake, a sequel, or a spin-off. yet over the years Hollywood will placed on out distinctive the franchise movies and that they are going to get decrease back to extra unique fare. The turn will probably take place whilst sequels are not making a lot money. as much as you would be able to loath to work out yet another observed photograph, you could assure yet another is interior the works whilst the 5th installment has made especially much $60 million on a $10 million production budget. you would be able to desire to think of approximately it from the attitude of an investor being asked to place up $one hundred-$2 hundred million money. would you fairly placed that money in the direction of an unknown commodity or the sequel to a movie that made $3 hundred million on the container workplace plus yet another couple hundred million in DVD revenues.

Some remakes are okay, but as a whole, sequels and remakes are WAY overrated!

Its more like telling the same ol' joke twice to garner more laughs ( Big Bucks in the case of movies. )
