Call her back and tell her to go to the closest labor and deliver room.
She could be going into labor shes 24 weeks(6 months) that marks a point where these babies can be saved.
She says she is feeling the baby kick these could be contactions
contactions open the opening(cervics) to where the baby is at and bleeding is a sign that this is happening; the mucus plug is what holds the cervics closed, you'll will start bleeding if it comes out.The doctors can try to stop the contractions which would be the best things because babies born to early can have a hard time breathing at this age, can become blind or mentally retarded and need doctors. If she is feeling water come out there is no turning back these babies have a 50% chance they MIGHT make it or they wont.
This is why she needs to rush if she takes to long in getting there she taking the chance of her babies dieing.

As a medical professional, trust me when I say she needs to be transported by ambulance to the nearest hospital with a Level 3 NICU. She could be in preterm labor, but the more immediately concerning thing is the possibility of her placenta having detached with the abdominal pain, bleeding, and vomiting. If this has occured, the babies may have only minutes, and her life can be in danger, as well.

No, you don't have a miscarriage at six months pregnant - you have a preemie! Nowadays with technology, babies can survive outside the womb at six months.
And she should be calling her OB/GYN, not her friends.

Oh dear God, is she insane!? She should get herself to a hospital right NOW- she may not be having a miscarriage, but it's certainly not worth risking it.
