Just found out another friend bought their first house and another friend just got married. This now constant stream of friends getting married or buying condos makes me feel like I'm underperforming compared to my peers. I knew I shoulda taken more AP classes in high school...j/k But, it is getting difficult to feel good about myself when I'm nowhere close to where my peers are at. No g/f, so marraige ain't happening soon, and I work in the public sector, so a condo isn't in the future. I had no idea back years ago that all I would care about now is money and status. Sigh...

I've got the signs but nothing's happening...?

For the past couple of months I get the signs of my period coming such as cramps and moodiness and sore breasts but I don't get my acutal period. Is there something wrong?

Can you leave your body?

When I am doing something really mundane, after a while I get into a rhythym and I can do this without thinking. So while I'm still doing these mudnace taks, I have the ability to think about things and it's like my mind splits and I am watching myself doing these tasks as if I'm outside my body.
Does this happen to you?

Do I need to disconnect the the bonding jumper when changing from a 3 prong to 4 prong dryer cord?

What does the bonding jumper look like? I got the dryer with no cord (must have got lost in transport?) so can't base anything on how it was previously wired.

How do I get rid of stretch marks?

After a bit of weight loss, I've got stretch marks on my stomach and continued stretch marks on my arms (bicep area). I'm using Cocoa Butter, but that doesn't seem to be working.

Any other suggestions?

My main question, will tanning work to discolour the red or white of the scar?

What is Gay Pride...read below. Don't respond with I must be curios cause I'm not, I just have a question or 2

What is evolved in being a proud homosexual? What are you really proud of?
Some Gays have said they don't mind holding hands but anything else needs to be behind closed doors. Some gay folks actually said it's nothing to be proud of.

Others say it's their life and they were behind closed doors for so long because of society so now they should be proud to express themselves with their partner in public?

When I have a GF we hold hands she may rub my head or something but I don't need to show anyone that hey I'm with a girl I got over that in high school. (Talking about me and my gf is my way of trying to relate to the situation)

Sometimes I get the feeling that's what homo pride is, one showing off the fact that they have a same sex mate. My first response, who cares! That’s like bragging about going to McDonald’s.

So what exactly are you proud of, can this pride be misguided and blown out of proportion? Talk to mw people I'm at work and I ain't going no where.

Okay I'm mainly a Liberal supporter and I hold no qualms to those who are conservatives but what Bush has done this time has just upset me to the core. Bush has done alot of stupid things but this time he's basically said F--ck you America and not to mention a big "ha ha" to congress. Here's what I'm talking about. There's always been a debate about stem cell research, but a bill to put more funding into Stem Cell Research and it passed through both the houses,basically congress said yes, both Republican's and Democrats alike. and it had the support of 2/3's of the American people, and what does Bush do, he goes and Vetos it flat out Vetos not a pocket Veto "hey put that at the bottom I've got gay marriage to deal with" but "F--ck no!" I'm sorry if I've offended anyone but that is blantenly messed up in more than one way; Bush is losing support from the american people, I know he's the president and he can do what he wants but you want people to like you, not hate you. opinions?

If a couple gets divorced; under what circumstances should they return the wedding gifts?

My daughter who is almost 24 is moving back home temporarily as she is divorcing her husband. They have been married only 11 months. This is extremely embarrassing for my husband and myself as we hosted a very nice wedding for them.

I am not sure what they should do about the gifts. Obvously the money has been spent and the proverbial toaster has been used at this point. Not only that, I am not certain she could even remember who gave her what gift.

What would the proper etiquette be under these circumstances?
