I have been tested for thyroid, anemia, hormones. I am ALWAYS pysically tired (as in my system is suppressed). This is years. Whether I exercise, eat right, get enough sleep--nothing seems to help. I've tried anti-depressants, sleeping pills, waking up pills--all for short, unsuccesful times--where the side-effects were awful.
Tried supplements, too.
I do have a stressful lifestyle (military wife, member of the reserves, three teens--with one driving, and one rebelling). But, after all these years, I don't believe it's psychological.
I eat fairly healthy (junk food less than once every two weeks). I'm 5'7", 130 lbs (just for info, this isn't a personal ad!)
Even had a test for mytravalve prolapse, to see if it is heart related.
Any suggestions for other things to check (or rule out?) I'm constantly told by docs--of course you're tired, you have three kids. This goes beyond that.
When I wake up, I NEVER feel rested.
Thanks for any insights (or empathy)
