Ok this is the third time i posted this question becasue I keep doing the wrong one. So. Lets try this again:

Find all real and imaginary solutions of the quadratic equations.
(y+12)^2 + 400 = 0
I know you get it to (y+12)^2 = - 400

Then we take the sqare root of -400 but then I dont get how you do that. I know that i^2 in -1 but i dont know how to put it to application here.

I really dig that 'quaver' when the last words of a sentence is being sung out. Kinda like an opera singer or a humming bee if you know what i mean. Kelly Clarkson is a real good example with this special voice i'm on about.
To people who can do that with their voice, how do you get it to 'quaver' or 'shake' that last note you drag on?
I'm always trying to do that i think it sounds cool haha. Any advice/vocal exercise tips on how to do that? How challenging can it be to do that or are you just BORN WITH IT? Thanks

I can see why believers don't like atheists like me. That's fine, it doesn't really bother me. What I find absolutely stupid is when christians say things like 'Muslims worship a false god.'
Oh really? I'm pretty sure they worship the same god as you. They even mention Jesus in the Koran.

Not that the Muslims don't do the same thing.

Personally, I think it's all a bunch of superstitious nonsense. But it's this religious mindest of 'my god is better than your god' nonsense that results in the horror show in the Middle East and throughout the world.

Point being, all of you supserstitious dopes should quit telling everyone how great your god is. Just shut up and worship by yourself. No one needs to hear it.

my parents have divorced + remarried new spouses. i am an adult and live alone. however i feel like i have nowhere to call "home", as in having roots or a sense of belonging. i feel like excess baggage in both parents' lives. anyone else experienced this?

For the past few weeks our backyard has been totally overrun by flies. I've thought maybe they're attracted to something, but they don't seem to be in one particular area. They are all over my cedar trees, the flowers in the garden and just hanging out on the grass. When myself or one of the kids walk out there you can see a huge cloud of flies lift off and then resettle again. We do have a dog but clean up the poop as soon as the deed is done, and always rinse the grass with the hose so the kids don't step in it and drag it through the house. I don't think they're hurting anything, its more of the gross out factor that makes me want to get rid of them. We bought this house 3 summers ago and have never had this problem before, and other than a few different flowers in the garden, everything in the backyard is the same. Any suggestions?

I have about 500 DVD's that I would like to start selling off...but before I sell some of them I would like to burn them to a DVD-R for backup. I was wondering how do those DVD duplicators work? Can I just throw in the original and a DVD-R and press a button for it to copy...is it that simple? Because I know when you copy on the computer you have to rip, compress, copy, etc. I would just like the quickest and simplest way to copy my DVD's before I sell them.

i am just fed of my life

my mother is ill (mental problem)father is drinking a lot becoz my brother has gone out for higher studies

when he was there he used to control my father but he is drinkingall night and yesterday he was not even able to stand

my mother does not want to cook and is always fighting with someone or the other. i and my father prepare food. but is is always fighting with my mother usually he starts and it ends into a war like thing.they both abuse each others family and what not

i miss my brother a lot, he was my best friend i used to share everything with him now i really feel loonely
should i tell him what is going on here
i don't want to make him sad as he has just started to make a career
my EXAMS are after 2 week and in such a situation i can't study pls help
