The real question should be where are they coming from. Maggots usually come from rotting flesh or plant matter. A thorough inspection of the area should be done to determine the cause. You might have a dead animal or bird in a wall void or fireplace if you have one. The only real way to get rid of maggots is to get rid of the source.

If they are in your house you can't really kill them unless if you squish them one by one. Get rid of whatever they are there for (i.e. rotting meat, dead animal...)
***reading these other peoples answers i didn't know bleach killed them!!!
I had some in my room (YUCK) and i couldn't find why they were there...i tried the ant/roach/fly spray, didn't work just stunk up my room...i got rid of everything they were near and then smooshed all the rest that were on the carpet. I haven't seen any since.
Good Luck!

Spray them with a solution of bleach and water. The most important thing is to clean up the source that created them. goods luck.

Bleach will do it, you need to remove the food source.
