I was raised Catholic and so was my husband but recently we have had a change of heart. We tried several different churches and our girls love the "Friends Church, Evangelist" and they go all the time. They are teens and enjoy having a choice in religion. But we just can't get into it. The who situation seems so confusing that we just have not gone to church. In the meantime part of me does not want to have a relationship with Christ and I don't know why and part of me does. We have three girls and I am pregnant with another child. I want to bring this child up in a Christian home, but I am having a hard time. All of the reasons that I want a relationship with Christ seem selfish. I want a piece of heaven, I want to see my father again and I don't want to go to hell. How to I change my perspective and build a relationship with Christ for all the right reasons?

Before we're born. I have a hard time believing that because
some parents are abusive...so why would we even remotely
want to say ," Hey....that mama or daddy looks like a good
choice, even though I knew they're going to beat the sh*t outta
me or whatever bad things they do, to make their kids suffer.

For me, I wish I could have been there when the African country of the Gold Coast gained its freedom from Great Britian, at midnight changing its name to Ghana. March 6, 1957. I understand that when the British flag was lowered and Ghana's new flag went up, there was dancing in the streets. The people rejoiced together, 'White' and 'Black', dancing and rejoicing together. Must have been like Heaven.

I heard this on Charlie Rose tonight when he was interviewing Kissinger. They said that when you want the public to support military action against a country that you first dehumanize them then demonize them.

I was like OMG that finally put it into words for me. You see this everytime we are about to go to war. IE, as soon as N.Korea started testing weapons, all of a sudden propaganda came out about their leader being whacko = demonize

Or Iran.. propaganda that was an incorrect translation of his speech stating '.. holocaust never happened...' = demonize.

Or propaganda about how all of Islam wants to kill Americans = dehumanize.

WOW I AM ON TO SOMETHING HERE!!!!

The song isnnt by black eye peas or simple plan. This is a hip hop song and sounds like this.
Doom da da, doom da da, doom da da, doom da da, just shut up shut up, just shut up shut up, shimmy shake, doom da da doom da da. At the begining of the song some guy is making strange sounds like: PLLLLLAAAAA or somthing. I would like to use this song for my hip hop dance class. Someone else asked this, but I guess they wernt spicific on it not being black eye peas or simple plan. I am looking for the straight version, not the rap version with I think lil jon in it. PLEASE HELP ME. I have been looking for it for months!
